Environmental Defense Fund, San Francisco CA

LEED-CI GOLD certification was a strong priority for this non-profit environmental advocacy group’s new San Francisco office. SideMark was selected for its LEED track record, working closely with the design team to specify the greatest amount of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified wood, formaldehyde-free wood, recycled fabrics, and other sustainable materials. A glass-wall system and low glass-topped Leverage workstation panels from Teknion also contributed towards vital LEED points as well as adding to the level of staff interaction – another key goal for the organization.
